Plain terms, in the order they will apply.

1. The site and the founding list

• Joining the founding list costs nothing and obliges you to nothing. We email you about the project; you can leave with one click.
• Everything on the site about the cabins is a design in progress. Every image is a concept render. Drive times, dates and prices are stated as estimates and will change. We say "about" because we mean it.
• Nothing on this site is an offer of securities or an invitation to invest. Hytte Hollow does not sell equity, revenue shares, or any financial return, and we will not ask you to invest.
• The site is provided as is. We are not liable for decisions you make relying on estimates that later change, beyond refunding what you have paid us under sections 2 and 3.

2. The Founding Circle membership (when it opens)

• The Founding Circle is a paid membership. The price is stated on the page when you join: $1 during the opening month, $50 after. It is a one-time payment, not a subscription.
• What you receive, delivered on payment: access to the private members' group, the drawings and county paperwork as they are produced, the weekly build documentary, votes on named decisions, and an option to book stays at the founding rate, 35% below the opening rate card, during the founding release.
• The membership fee is applied as a credit to your first booking if you make one during the release.
• The membership is not a deposit on a stay, not a reservation, and not refundable as one, because nothing is being held for you. It is payment for the access delivered on the day you join. If the founding release never opens, the option lapses and the membership has still been delivered.
• You may cancel within 14 days of joining for a full refund by emailing hello@hyttehollow.com, provided you have not used the option to book.
• Memberships are personal and not transferable, except that the option to book can be used for a stay you gift to someone else.

3. The founding release of stays (when it opens)

• The release sells single, dated stays: a stated number of nights, a stated arrival window, at a stated price. Each stay is one booking, not a right to future stays. Hytte Hollow does not sell timeshares or multi-year use plans.
• Stays sold in the release are fully refundable until we break ground, on request to hello@hyttehollow.com, within 14 days of the request. We will tell every buyer in writing when groundbreaking is scheduled, at least 30 days before.
• After groundbreaking, a release stay converts to a transferable credit for its full value at Hytte Hollow. The credit does not expire. If the village is not built, the credit is refunded in full.
• Founding members choose dates first, in the order they joined. Others choose after. Dates are confirmed once the opening calendar is published.
• If we cannot honour a booked window, you may choose another of equal value or a full refund.
• House rules, occupancy limits set by the health department, and check-in details are provided before arrival and form part of the booking.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card statement will show HYTTE HOLLOW. Prices are in US dollars. Applicable taxes, including Virginia state and Page County transient occupancy taxes on stays, are added at the rates in force when you stay and shown before you pay.

5. Disputes

Write to us first; almost everything is solved by email. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida for the site and the membership, and by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia for stays at the property. Any court proceeding must be brought in those states respectively.

6. Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to a purchase is the version in force on the day you paid, which we keep on file and will send you on request.
